A resin correction part, the correct air intake for the Bf 109G-6 from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale: an accessory, not a kit of the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale offers a precisely shaped air intake for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter. It is not a kit of the airplane but a small correction part that replaces the less faithful intake from the plastic kit and improves the look of the side of the engine cowling.
The Bf 109G was powered by a Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engine, whose supercharger drew air through a funnel-shaped intake on the left side of the cowling. The shape of that intake is conspicuous and easy to see in profile, so a faithful rendering of it noticeably affects the overall impression of a model. The Bf 109G-6 was among the most widespread versions of this fighter in the Second World War.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release residue. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a knife, sand the surface and protect your airways when sanding resin. Remove the original intake from the kit and replace it with the resin one; glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, for better adhesion.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
