A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin casting by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale represents the correctly shaped control stick for the American carrier multirole aircraft Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet. It is an easily fitted resin detail that corrects and refines the shape of the stick compared with the part from the box. It is supplied unpainted and without an aircraft model.
The control stick is a prominent focal point of an open cockpit. The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a modern carrier multirole aircraft of the US Navy and its stick carries the characteristic shaping of the grip with its controls. The resin part captures the correct geometry and the fine detail better than the plastic from the kit, so once fitted and painted it brings the interior of the cockpit to life.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut the thin casting block off carefully and sand the seating face gently with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate; because of the small size, work with tweezers. Apply a primer before painting; lay the base coat with a brush or an airbrush and pick the controls on the grip out with a fine brush.
The part is supplied unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
