A resin seat with cast belts for the Me 262A in 1:32 scale from the Quickboost brand. A replacement resin detail for the cockpit; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin casting from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale represents the pilot seat with cast safety belts for the German Messerschmitt Me 262A jet fighter. It is an easily fitted resin detail that combines the seat and the belts in a single part and replaces the plastic from the box. It is supplied unpainted and without an aircraft model.
The Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world to enter series service, and the A version was the basis of its production at the end of the Second World War. With the canopy open, the seat with its harness is the main feature of the cockpit. The cast belts with a faithful sag save the work of using photo-etch and, once painted, give the interior a realistic, lived-in look.
Wash the part to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting block carefully and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply primer before painting; lay the shell and the belts with an airbrush or a brush, pick out the buckles in a metallic shade and draw out the detail with a wash and dry shading.
The part is supplied unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
