A LooK detail set from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the legendary American North American P-51D-15 Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an improvement for the cabin. The set holds a three-dimensional, pre-printed colored instrument panel with faithful dials and raised details and, with it, photo-etched steel seat belts. The parts replace the plastic components of a model and in this larger scale they stand out especially well.
The P-51D was the peak version of the Mustang, with its characteristic bubble canopy and a powerful Packard Merlin engine. The D-15 subversion was among the production blocks of the later run. The Mustang became famous as an escort fighter for bomber formations over Europe and in the Pacific.
