The seventh part of the Italian series from Star Decals offers in 1:72 scale markings for Panther tanks in the Ausf A and Ausf G versions and for the command version Bef-Panther Ausf A. It is an addition to a finished model; the package holds no plastic parts.
The Panther Ausf A settled the form of the type after the initial troubles of the first version and was given a new commander's cupola. The Ausf G brought a reworked hull with a simpler side without the recess for the driver's vision port. The command Bef-Panther version differed little on the outside, but inside it had strengthened radio equipment at the cost of part of the ammunition carried and wore additional aerials.
The Panther has extensive flat sides on the turret as well as the hull, so every design stands out on it, but at the same time even the smallest mistake shows on them. Trim the carrier membrane tight to the print, otherwise a glossy edge will be apparent on matte armor. Once it is seated, let the decal dry without touching it and only then secure it with varnish. Attach the aerials of the command version after the markings rather than before, so that they are not in your way when working with a brush. The same rule holds for the tow cables and the barrel travel lock.
