Self-adhesive masks cut from kabuki paper for the 1:48 rendition of the Polish W-3 helicopter. The New Ware brand divides its sets into several levels by extent, and this item carries the label ADVANCED. For the same type the manufacturer also makes a BASIC and an EXPERT level, so you can choose according to how much work you want to save.
The W-3 Sokol arose in Poland as a multipurpose twin-engine machine and grew into a whole family of renditions. The transport, rescue, police and naval versions differ in windows, covers and external equipment, which shows in the shape of the masked areas. The manufacturer has therefore listed in the name the versions the set concerns, so that the customer can tell whether it will fit the model in progress.
Free the area of grease before applying them. Lift the individual pieces off with tweezers and lay them on without tensioning them; on a rounded shape it is better to divide the bend of the paper into shorter sections. Apply the paint in several thin coats and let it flash off between sprays. When finished, take the mask off at a sharp angle; the edge then stays clean and the edge of the finish will not be torn away with it.
What you are buying is a masking set. The model of the helicopter and paints do not belong to it.
