The AH-1W Super Cobra is an American attack helicopter developed for the US Marine Corps. Compared with the older single-engined Cobra versions it received a pair of engines and a wide range of armament, from unguided rockets through anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles to a rotary cannon in the nose turret. The NTS modernization brought advanced sensors for finding and laser-designating targets by day, by night and in difficult conditions, which widened the combat capabilities of the machine.
Assemble the cockpit and the weapon pylons carefully and mask the glazing. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement; simply clean the metal barrels up and weather them lightly. Apply the base shades with an airbrush, bring out the panel lines with a wash and suggest service wear with restrained weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
