Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light special operations helicopter AH-6M / MH-6M Little Bird in 1:35 scale from the maker Kitty Hawk. The kit makes it possible to build the gunship AH-6M version as well as the transport MH-6M version, it offers a well-worked pilot's cockpit with glazing and a fine rotor system, and it tends to come with photo-etched parts and figures added. The generous equipment makes the model a rewarding subject for the display cabinet as well as for a diorama.
The Little Bird is an American light multipurpose helicopter derived from a civil type which, with special forces, carries out the tasks of observation, transport and direct fire support. The gunship AH-6 version carries machine guns and rocket pods, while the transport MH-6 carries small assault teams, who sit on benches on the outside of the cabin. Its small size, agility and the ability to land in confined places make it an ideal machine for night and precision operations. The machines tended to be modified for night operations and carried a typical dark finish.
Paint and fit out the pilot's cockpit before closing up the fuselage, because the glazing will reveal the interior. Build the rotor head and the main rotor carefully so that the blades sit evenly. Fit the armament and the side benches according to the version chosen. For a faithful look choose the dark finish of the special forces, bring out the panel lines gently and add restrained wear; the figures will bring the whole scene to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
