A set of ammunition for the British 6-pounder of 57 mm caliber of the Second World War, that is for the antitank as well as the tank gun. 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The British gun carried as the 6pdr, that is the 6-pounder, was named after the older habit of naming guns by the weight of the projectile; the bore diameter is 57 mm. It was introduced as a towed antitank gun and in the same caliber it also went into tanks, so the same rounds served infantry antitank units and the crews of armored vehicles alike. Against German medium tanks it was a decisive improvement over the earlier 2-pounder. Besides armor-piercing shot, the 6-pounder gradually received a discarding sabot round and a high-explosive shell for targets other than armored vehicles.
Rounds in 1:35 scale for both forms of the weapon. With the towed gun they suit the crew position, opened ammunition boxes and the hands of figures at the breech; with a tank they suit the ammunition stowage in the hull and the turret, if you leave the model open. Loose pieces laid casually at a position bring a scene to life more than a tidy heap lined up in a row.
For builders of British Second World War vehicles in 1:35 scale and for makers of scenes with artillery crews. The package holds the parts of the ammunition. The model, figures, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
