According to the name, the set 1:35 Concrete barrier Set No.2 (6 pcs) contains six concrete barriers in 1:35 scale. It is a scenic accessory from RT-Diorama, that is an element of the setting for a diorama rather than a kit of a vehicle. The second-set marking suggests that the manufacturer makes concrete barriers in several versions.
Concrete barriers are everywhere in the modern city and military setting. They close entrances off, guide traffic at checkpoints, protect positions and separate lanes on diversions. In a diorama they play a similar part visually as well: they give the scene order, explain where it is permitted to drive and divide the area into parts with different meanings. For a subject from recent decades they are as characteristic as sandbags are for earlier periods.
Do not set the barriers in a perfectly straight row. Turning the individual pieces, slight gaps and one piece out of line look more natural and suggest that somebody has been moving them. It works well to use them as a guide line toward the main subject of the scene: the viewer's eye will follow them. Six pieces are enough for a checkpoint or for narrowing a passage; for a longer run the sets are combined.
