A photo-etched sheet with an engraved German-type grill pattern (100x50 mm) is a universal brass accessory for making cooling grills and meshes on models of armored equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched brass sheet with a finely engraved German-style grill pattern, not a model. The overall dimensions of the sheet are 100x50 mm, and it serves as a stock of material for superdetailing and scratchbuilding. You cut the pieces you need out of the sheet as you go.
The engraved grill replaces coarsely cast plastic cooling grills, expanded metal, meshes and the bulkheads of the engine compartments of armored vehicles. The finely executed relief markedly raises the realism of a model wherever the inside or the cooling openings of the hull can be seen. You trim a piece to suit the particular application, so the sheet will serve in more than one place and on more than one project.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors on a hard surface, and if need be dress the edges with a fine file. Bond the brass with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with two-part epoxy. Degrease it before clear-coating and use a primer suitable for metal so that the paint holds. The material can be shaped and bent slightly into curves.
This is a supplementary photo-etched part, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
