The Bravo 6 brand builds its range on figures cast in resin whose main asset is a natural stance. A resting scene makes different demands from a dynamic pose: a great deal depends on the center of gravity of the figure, on what it leans against and on how it joins the base. Try the figures out dry first, therefore, and look for a ground level at which the feet or the seated surface sit down with no gap. The casting captures the folds of fabric and the texture of the equipment, which rewards patient shading during painting.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, never break them off, because resin cracks. Sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with superglue, and gaps in the shoulders and the neck should be filled with putty. After a thin primer, paint the figures off the base and seat them only once finished. Oil paints suit fabric for smooth transitions, and acrylics the small items of equipment. A final matte clear coat evens the surface out, but leave the flesh rather semi-matte so that the face does not look flat.
