Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Tamiya represents the German light tank Panzerkampfwagen II in the Ausf. A/B/C versions (Sd.Kfz. 121). The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; check the particular contents of the boxing and the marking options against the information on the box.
The Panzer II was a German light tank of the 1930s, based on the hull of the lighter Panzer I and armed with a 20 mm autocannon supplemented by a machine gun. Series production of the Ausf. A version began in 1937; gradual improvements, among them to the running gear and the armor, led to the Ausf. B and Ausf. C versions. In the early part of the Second World War the Panzer II was one of the most numerous tanks of the Wehrmacht and was committed in Poland and in the other early campaigns; later it moved rather to reconnaissance duties.
Assemble and paint the running gear (road wheels, tracks) and any interior detail before you close the hull - once it is glued there is no access to them. Clean the flash off the parts and check the fit dry. Glue the joints with liquid modeling cement for plastic, apply a primer before painting and spray the camouflage with an airbrush; apply the markings over a gloss clear coat. Pick the lower hull and the tracks out with washes and pigments - mud and dust effects give the vehicle realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
