Responsibility details are not available.
This set of figures from the brand Magic Factory shows tank crewmen and the crew of a combat vehicle of the American army in present-day gear. The figures are rendered so that they can be used in turret hatches and beside the machine alike, and they are meant to complete a finished model, not to build a scene standing on its own.
A present-day American tank crewman differs from his predecessor of the last century at first glance. He wears a helmet with headphones and a microphone adapted for work inside a vehicle, a flame-resistant suit, a plate carrier, and with it hearing protection, gloves and knee pads. The camouflage pattern of the uniform is based on a light earthy palette, which replaced the earlier gray-green rendition.
Build the faces from the bottom up: flesh color first, then thin darker shading into the recesses and finally lighter transitions on the forehead, the nose and the cheekbones. It is better to start the uniform in a lighter tone, because shading always darkens it somewhat. Set the gear and the straps apart with a shade that differs from the uniform in brightness, otherwise the figure will merge into one blotch.
The figures come without a finish and without a base.
