A photo-etched detail set from Eduard for the Panther Ausf.G late version in 1:35 scale. A metal accessory for refining a kit of the German tank, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched metal parts from Eduard intended for refining the plastic kit of the German medium tank Panther in the Ausf.G version of late production, in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank model but a detailing accessory that replaces the coarser plastic features with thin photo-etched parts. The scope of the set is described in the enclosed instructions.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War with markedly sloped armor and a long gun of 75 mm caliber of the KwK 42 type, which was noted for its high penetration. The Ausf.G version was the most widely built variant, with a modified hull; the late form carried small production changes from the end of the war.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with super glue. Detail the fenders, the side skirts and the engine compartment grilles before the hull is closed up. Apply a primer before painting; for late-war German camouflage, filters, a wash in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear work well.
The accessory does not include the model itself, glue or paints. It is intended for completing an existing kit.
