A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Hauler, meant for models of the German Steyr 1500A light off-road car. It is not a model in its own right but a set of fine brass parts that raise the level of finish of a kit in the places where plastic runs up against its possibilities. The photo-etched sheet is cut for the Tamiya kit.
The Steyr 1500A was a versatile all-wheel-drive car produced in Austria and committed by the German armed forces as a staff, liaison and light cargo vehicle. It served on the Eastern Front, in Africa and in Europe and had a whole series of body variants.
Cut the photo-etched parts off the brass fret, bend them along the engraved lines (ideally in a photo-etch bending tool) and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), or else solder them. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer. Remove the small plastic elements of the kit before fitting the photo-etch.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
