1:35 US Infantry Freedom Iraq part II (2 fig.) is a CMK resin set with two figures of American infantry. The second, following part of the series in 1:35 scale.

A pair of castings in modeling resin in 1:35 scale from the maker CMK. It is a figure accessory, not a kit of equipment. The designation part two means that the set is conceived as a continuation: the figures in it have different poses from those in part one and both packages together give a four-man group.
The practical consequence is different from part one. If you are buying both sets at once, lay all four castings out on the table before gluing and look for a composition: the figures should not stand in a row or parallel, at least two should be looking elsewhere and it is better to choose irregular spacing. If you are buying part two later to add to a part one that is already painted, count on it being hard to match the shades after months; before you start, compare the new figure with the old one under the same light and rather mix yourself a test sample. The figures are modeled for standing on terrain, not for a hatch.
Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-toothed saw and level the feet on abrasive paper on a flat board. The parting line runs along the sides across the gear; restore the sanded-away edges of the pouches and straps with the tip of a knife. Pay particular attention to the small bubbles that occasionally appear on the edges and in the recesses of resin castings: fill them with thicker cyanoacrylate glue, let it harden and sand it over. They show up only after the base has been applied, when it is too late. Before clear coating, wash the parts in warm water with detergent. Sand with respiratory protection.
So that the four come across as one group, paint the figures from both packages at the same time and from one batch of paint. Then create the small differences deliberately, with a different shade of gloves or a different degree of dusting, rather than by chance. Leave the faces until the end and paint them in good light.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
