A resin set of replacement wheels and tires in 1:35 scale for the American tactical vehicle of the LMTV range (M1082). It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle; it replaces the wheels from the plastic kit. The tires are cast with a realistic sag where they meet the road. This is variant 2 with a tread different from set 1: they are separate products for different tastes and building plans.
The target kit is the Trumpeter one; it is bought separately.
The LMTV range (Light Medium Tactical Vehicle) forms the backbone of the light logistics of the US Army: tactical vehicles and trailers for carrying cargo over demanding terrain. Faithfully rendered wheels with tread and sidewall markedly raise the realism of the finished model.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tires matte black-gray, bring out the tread with a dry brush and finish settled dust and mud with dust pigments.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
