This set from DEF Model is not a kit but a set of replacement wheels cast in resin for the model of the American M561 Gama Goat articulated off-road vehicle in 1:35 scale. The wheels have a flattened area modeled into their lower part (sagged), so that once they are fitted the vehicle rests realistically on the ground. The wheels are intended for the Tamiya kit.
The set replaces the standard wheels of the model with resin castings with a faithful tread pattern and a naturally compressed tire shape. A mask for a clean paint finish on the hubs is included. The resin parts have finer detail than the original plastic wheels and noticeably raise the realism of the chassis.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Use the mask for a clean separation of the hub and the tire when painting.
The set contains only the resin wheels and the mask, not the model of the vehicle. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
