A set of replacement wheels in modeling resin for the American M706 wheeled armored personnel carrier, also known as the V100 Commando. The castings replace the plastic wheels of the Hobby Boss kit and faithfully reproduce the sagged lower part of the tire, which creates the impression of a heavy armored car resting on the ground.
A finely worked tread pattern, a clean sidewall surface and the exact shape of the rim are among the main merits of the set. Sagged tires are ideal for dioramas and for a display case build alike, where they raise the credibility of the whole scene.
Before painting, separate the castings from the casting blocks, clean them up and paint them with ordinary modeling paints.
