Masking strips 12 x 0.5 - 2 mm (kabuki) is a set of thin masking strips of paper washi tape from the Czech manufacturer Omask for masking straight lines precisely.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of twelve masking strips of paper washi tape (kabuki) in widths of roughly 0.5 to 2 mm. It is used for masking thin lines, stripes and edgings when spraying paint with an airbrush. The strips are cut to an exact width beforehand, so the laborious cutting of narrow strips falls away. They are made by the Czech manufacturer Omask.
Kabuki is a thin Japanese paper washi tape. It is pliable, peels off easily without risk of damaging the base and sits excellently on straight edges and gentle curves. Oramask vinyl film, by contrast, is more flexible on markedly rounded surfaces and tends to be even more resistant to paint running under. Kabuki is therefore reached for by modelers who want fine, legible masking and easy removal of the tape.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Work in a well-ventilated space and follow the instructions of the paint manufacturer.
