FADED GREEN – ARTISTIC DENSE ACRYLIC COLOR

FADED GREEN – ARTISTIC DENSE ACRYLIC COLOR

A shade of sun-bleached, washed-out green from the modeling range of dense acrylic paints by AK interactive. The package is a metal tube holding 20 ml with a black cap. The pigment is made up of very fine particles, thanks to which the paste has high covering power even in a thin coat and stays matte once dry, so smooth transitions of tone build up well on it.

Where faded green fits

• Field blouses and trousers of infantry, where the cloth should look worn and sun-beaten.
• Tarpaulins, tent sections, covers and haversacks as a counterweight to more saturated greens.
• Light highlights on the edges of folds when you build volume from shadow to light.
• Plant elements in a diorama, camouflage netting and cut foliage.

Working with the tube

Squeeze a small amount onto the palette, work the paste with the brush and only then carry it to the figure. Because it is a dense paste, it takes brush application in layers and work with an airbrush equally well. Over a light base the tone comes up practically at the first pass; over a dark base allow for several thin coats, so that the sharpness of small details is preserved.

Who it is for

It aims above all at painters of figures and busts who work in thin layers and want full control of the transitions. It will find a use outside modeling as well, for example in painting on canvas or in illustration.

Store out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and close the tube carefully after use.
