You can build the tanker trailer as a stand-alone model, hitch it behind an American vehicle or make it the center of a camp scene, as there is always something going on around water on any diorama.
Supplying drinking water was among the basic tasks of the rear of the American army during the Second World War. Trailer water tanks were towed behind trucks into field camps, kitchens and dressing stations and served soldiers as a mobile source of water everywhere infrastructure was lacking. The inconspicuous trailer with its tank therefore stood in the background of practically every American camp from North Africa to Europe, and a number of examples served long after the war as well.
Before building, wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways while sanding resin. The basis is American olive drab, the tank is livened up by fine runs around the filler necks and the outlet taps, and the chassis by dust and mud from pigments. In a scene it works splendidly with a line of figures with jerrycans and mess kits.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
