Turned metal barrels, MASTER 1:350 – the armament of the German destroyer Z-39 (1945). It is not a ship model but a complete set of barrels for both the main and the anti-aircraft armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a ship model but a set of turned metal barrels in 1:350 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER. The set covers the whole armament: four barrels of 150 mm caliber, four 37 mm C/30 anti-aircraft cannons, ten 37 mm M42 cannons and twelve 20 mm barrels. The metal barrels will replace the plastic parts from the kit with accurate geometry and a sharp muzzle. The set is adapted to the model from the Dragon brand.
Z-39 was a German destroyer of the Type 1936A (Mob), the so-called Narvik class, with a main armament of 150 mm caliber. The 1945 configuration includes a heavily strengthened light anti-aircraft armament, typical of the close of the war, when German ships faced a growing threat from the air.
Cut the small barrels off the casting stub carefully and clean up the ends. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a metal primer. The muzzles of the barrels are already drilled, so you get a realistic view into the barrel without laboriously drilling plastic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
