This Decalcas accessory in 1:24 scale depicts plastic traffic barriers, the light portable sections that are lined up on the real road and filled with water or sand as needed. It is not a vehicle kit but a piece of setting that places a finished model in one particular situation on the road or inside a closed compound.
A line of barriers looks best when you do not set it perfectly straight and turn the individual sections slightly. Plastic in service loses depth of color as it fades, which you imitate by lightening the base shade and gently polishing the edges. Stickers, dirt around the base and marks from impacts give the scene a story. Degrease the surfaces before painting, because paint takes poorly to a smooth finish.
