It replaces the clear plastic parts that are part of the kit; you need to have the kit in order to use the set. The manufacturer intends it for the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento kit from Aoshima.
The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a concept shown at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. Its name refers to the sixth element of the periodic table, carbon: the body, the monocoque and a number of suspension parts were of carbon composite, and the car thereby pressed its weight well under a ton. It was powered by a ten-cylinder V engine and was produced only in a tiny series for circuit use.
The film is thinner and cleaner than a production molding, but it cannot be glued with ordinary cement for plastic — that would eat into it and fog it. Use glue for clear parts or a piece of double-sided tape around the edge of the frame. Remove the protective layer only after the painting is finished and keep the parts in a paper wrapper until then, because the surface is easily scratched. Always try the seating dry before gluing.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
