A resin set of the air intake and the oil cooler for a model of the Soviet single-engine biplane Antonov An-2 in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail part from the brand Quickboost. The castings replace the simplified plastic parts with a more faithful rendering in the area under the engine cowling.
The Antonov An-2 was a general purpose single-engine biplane used for transport, agriculture and parachute drops. It was powered by the Shvetsov ASh-62 radial engine. The air intake and the oil cooler are among the characteristic features of the lower part of the nose of the aircraft.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting block with a knife or a saw and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Before painting, roughen the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin so that the paint holds well and does not peel anywhere.
This is an accessory for sharpening a kit, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and a kit are not included in the package.
