A resin set of precisely cast pitot tubes for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in 1:48 scale. The thin pitot tube on the leading edge of the wing is a visually important detail that often looks coarse in plastic. The resin castings are finer and more faithful. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War, built in many versions. The pitot tube served for measuring airspeed and was placed on the leading edge of the left wing. Its shape differed slightly between the individual versions.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The thin tubes are fragile, so handle them carefully. Before gluing, pick the tube that matches your particular version of the Bf 109.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
