SBS Model 1:48 Bf-109 – seats with harness (2 pieces) is a resin set of pilot seats for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter.

This is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket detail set. The set contains two finely cast resin pilot seats with faithfully rendered seat belts (the harness), which replace the simplified seat of the base kit and bring the cockpit interior noticeably to life. It is intended for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in its early versions in 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the standard fighter of the Luftwaffe throughout the Second World War and one of the most heavily produced fighter aircraft in history. The early versions (series A to E) had already made their mark in the Spanish Civil War and in the opening campaigns of the war, and they laid the foundation of this whole successful family.
Wash the mold release agent off the seats, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The relief of the belts comes out once it is painted and gently picked out (a dry brush, a wash). The cast belts call for no additional photo-etched parts.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and serves to improve the base kit, which it does not include.
