Blenheim Mk.I Exhausts 1:48 is a resin set of exhausts that replaces the plastic parts and gives the engines faithful cast detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft model. It contains precisely cast exhaust stubs for models of the Bristol Blenheim Mk.I bomber in 1:48 scale. The resin castings have a finer surface and deeper openings than injection-molded plastic can manage at this size, and they serve as a direct replacement for the original kit parts.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engined light bomber of the 1930s which served with the RAF and with Allied air forces at the beginning of the Second World War. The characteristic short exhaust pipes on the sides of the engine nacelles are among the prominent details that decide how convincing the finished model looks.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The exhausts come into their own when painted in metallic and rust shades and then emphasized with a wash and pigments for a burnt metal effect.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
