A resin detail set, not an airplane model. This resin set from the Aires brand in 1:48 scale brings the complete cockpit of the American Grumman EA-6B Prowler carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft in its early ICAP-2 form. It will replace the simplified interior from the box with faithful tubs, instrument panels, consoles and seats for a crew of four. The set is intended for experienced modelers; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack aircraft, with a lengthened nose for a crew of four. It served to jam hostile radars and communications. The ICAP-2 (Increased Capability) form brought modernized avionics, whose layout the resin cockpit captures faithfully.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
