This is a resin detail cockpit set in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for improving a kit of the F-15C fighter in the early instrument standard. The set usually brings a cast cockpit tub, side consoles, an instrument panel with conventional dials and a seat with a fine relief. The early version differs in the layout of the cockpit from the later digital standards.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine air superiority fighter introduced in the 1970s. The single-seat F-15C version was intended to win and hold air superiority and became one of the most successful fighters in its class. The early cockpit used analog instruments.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand the resin with respiratory protection. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
