This set is a resin accessory from the Quickboost (Aires) brand in 1:48 scale, not a stand-alone model of the airplane. It holds a pair of faithfully cast ejection seats with sharp detail of the structure and with cast seat belts for the two-seat cockpit of a plastic F-15E Strike Eagle kit. It replaces the simplified seats from the kit and is meant for experienced modelers.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle is an American twin-engine multirole combat aircraft with a tandem crew of two, a pilot and a weapon systems operator. Derived from the F-15 fighter version, it serves for strikes against ground targets as well as for holding command of the air and carries a wide range of armament. Both crew stations have ejection seats.
These are resin castings for advanced builders. First wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and clean up the cut surfaces, always with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the seats and pick the cast belts out separately, and only then fit them into the cockpit.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The kit of the aircraft, the glue, the paints and any other accessories are not included in the package.
