Responsibility details are not available.
This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Furball Aero-Design covers modern McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagles of the 4th Fighter Wing in their recent combat service. It offers markings for a whole row of specific aircraft with personal names and unit badges. The decals are meant for a matching plastic model; the model itself is not included in the package.
The F-15E Strike Eagle is a two-seat multirole fighter-bomber capable of precision strikes at long range and of air combat. Aircraft of the 4th Fighter Wing distinguished themselves defending against a mass raid by unmanned aircraft in the spring of 2024, when they shot a great number of them down and so earned the nickname Drone Killers. The crew markings and mission tallies reflect that exceptional deployment.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish so that the film does not silver on the low-visibility gray schemes. Settle the small technical stencils and unit badges with a decal softener and draw them into the panel lines with a setting solution. Even the finished markings out with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
The set contains decals only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
