An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-engine fighter F-16CM-50 Fighting Falcon in the Dark Viper form in 1:48 scale from the maker Hasegawa. It is a limited release with a striking dark camouflage scheme and additional parts for external equipment, including a targeting and guidance pod.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter with a characteristic bubble canopy ensuring an excellent view out. The CM version from block 50 is an upgraded machine of the US Air Force capable of air combat as well as precision strikes on ground targets. Thanks to its high agility and a rich range of external stores it is one of the most widespread fighters of the Western world.
Give attention to the cockpit, which is rendered in detail, before you close the fuselage; the canopy can be built open. Protect the glazing with masking, use a liquid modeling cement on the plastic and glue the clear parts with a glue for clear parts, so that they do not go dull. Apply a base coat (a primer) before painting and put the dark shades on with an airbrush. Fit the pylons and the pods only after painting, and fix the decals on a smooth gloss clear.
