The set holds resin air intake covers for a model of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II jet in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory of the Quickboost brand (Aires). The covers are fitted into the engine intakes and show the aircraft parked on the ground. This is not an aircraft model but a detail set.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat supersonic multirole jet, one of the most widely used combat machines of its era. Protective air intake covers were fitted to parked aircraft so that dirt could not get into the engines. On a model they complete a realistic ramp scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and fit them into the air intakes. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways and ventilate the room while sanding resin.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
