Eduard 1:48 F-4E exhaust nozzles PRINT is an add-on set of exhaust nozzles for the model of the F-4E Phantom II fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a replacement for the most conspicuous parts of the tail.

This item is not an aircraft model but a detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard from its PRINT line. It replaces the engine exhaust nozzles, that is, the pair of parts that a finished model wears literally written on its tail. On the real Phantom the nozzles are made up of movable segments, have thin edges and are heat-discolored into metallic shades. A plastic kit handles this area in a simplified way, with thick edges and a shallow interior, and that is exactly what the set removes.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4E is the most widespread version of the Phantom II and you can recognize it by the extended nose with a built-in gun. It is powered by two General Electric J79 turbojets with afterburners, whose nozzles change their cross-section according to the flight regime. On the ground they usually stand in the open position and the area around them on real machines tends to be heavily grimed and heat-discolored, which makes it a rewarding place for weathering.
Cut off the original plastic nozzles and level the area by wet sanding. Wash the new parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the inside of the nozzle before it is glued to the airframe. Create the metallic look over a black gloss base and suggest the heat discoloration with thin oversprays of brown, blue and violet. Finally unify the area with a dark wash and bring out the edges of the segments with a fine dry brush.
This is an add-on set, not an aircraft kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
