The product is an aftermarket accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. It holds three-dimensionally printed and color-rendered parts for the front and rear cockpits on a decal backing. The instrument panels, the side consoles and other detail have raised relief and look three-dimensional without photo-etch and demanding painting. The set is made for models of the F-4S Phantom II in 1:48 scale.
The F-4S was the modernized version of the naval Phantom II operated by the US Navy and the Marine Corps. It came about by rebuilding F-4J machines and brought improved airframes, avionics and maneuvering ability in the late era of the type's service.
Cut the parts out, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto a degreased surface. Do not soak them too long. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry would damage the printed resin. The look can be evened out at the end with a flat varnish.
The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
