A set of precisely cast resin exhausts for a model of the Vought F4U-7 Corsair carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory to replace the parts from the kit, not a model of the aircraft. Open mouths and fine definition give the radial engine a realistic look.
The F4U-7 was a late version of the Corsair built for French naval aviation (the Aeronavale) and committed to action in the postwar period. It was powered by a potent radial engine with characteristic exhaust stubs along the sides of the cowling.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them on with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Pick the mouths out with a dark wash and shades of burnt metal.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
