It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for sharpening the interior and the exterior of a matching plastic model. The set contains fine etched parts that replace or complete simplified plastic components.
Etched parts give the model a fineness that injection-molded plastic cannot manage — thin cockpit elements, instrument panels, seat harness and small exterior details. The F6F-3 Hellcat was a rugged US Navy carrier fighter with a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine; from 1943 it became the backbone of fighter aviation in the Pacific and contributed markedly to winning air superiority. Its roomy cockpit only gains from fine photo-etch.
The set is an accessory to the build; on its own it does not make a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
