This is a photo-etched set of pre-colored steel seat belts (the STEEL range), not an aircraft model. The set is meant to finish the cockpit of an F-16I SUFA model in 1:48 scale.
The parts are of thin steel with the color printed on, so once cut out they can be shaped and fitted straight away; steel holds the shape of a realistically sagging belt better than brass and looks more faithful than a plastic or decal solution.
The F-16I Sufa (Hebrew for storm) is the Israeli two-seat version of the F-16 fighter adapted for long-range strikes, with a characteristic dorsal spine for fuel and avionics.
Cut the belts out carefully, shape them with tweezers into a natural sag and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. A sharp knife and fine tweezers make the handling easier.
The set contains only the seat belts; the model itself, glue and paints are not included.
