A detail cockpit set for the Harrier GR Mk.7 multirole aircraft in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the cockpit interior from a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed assembly: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel with modern avionics, side consoles, a seat and the controls.
The Harrier GR Mk.7 was a British single-seat aircraft with short takeoff and vertical landing, used above all for ground support. The GR.7 version brought equipment for night operations and modernized avionics. Characteristic were the rotating nozzles that made vertical takeoff and landing possible.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding. The cockpit comes into its own once painted and the details picked out gently with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
