This is a resin detail set of the radiators in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit of the Ju 87D dive bomber. The cast radiators capture the fine structure of the cooling gills and the internal elements that injection-molded plastic usually cannot manage, and they refine the look of the powerplant.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber used in the Second World War, easily recognized by its inverted gull wing. The Ju 87D version was a later, more capable conversion with an improved engine and aerodynamics. The radiators were among the characteristic elements of the cooling system of this aircraft.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The structure of the cooling gills stands out with suitable accentuation of the shadows. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
