Eduard Spitfire Mk.Vb early, Weekend Edition 1:48 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the British fighter in the Weekend edition specification.

A plastic kit in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in the simpler Weekend edition. It captures the early version of the Spitfire Mk.Vb with the armored glass ahead of the windscreen and symmetrical bulges under the wings. The Weekend edition contains quality plastic parts and decals for several marking options, without the etch and masks usual in the ProfiPACK edition.
The Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread British fighters of the Second World War. The Vb version carried the wing with mixed cannon and machine gun armament and was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin. It was used on most fronts and became the backbone of British fighter defense in 1941 and 1942.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the seams down. Priming, spraying the camouflage with an airbrush and a gloss coat under the decals are all recommended. Bring out the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
