This resin set casts the barrels of the onboard cannon for a model of the Panavia Tornado IDS in 1:48 scale exactly. It is a detail accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The castings offer a crisper and finer rendering than the plastic parts from the base mold and replace them without any need for complicated rework.
The Panavia Tornado IDS is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in cooperation between several European countries. The IDS version was intended for attacks on ground targets and for penetration at low level. Built-in onboard cannon were part of its armament.
Wash the parts to remove mold release, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding resin. Recommended to modelers with experience of resin accessories.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
