The 1:72 version of the 3.7 cm ammunition set: fifteen rounds in three types and forty spent cartridge cases.
Responsibility details are not available.
The weapon this set belongs to armed the light tanks of the German armed forces built in Prague. The 3.7 cm caliber soon proved not enough against heavily armored machines, but at the beginning of the war it was among the ordinary armament and was accompanied by a large stock of rounds of three kinds. The set is named after them.
You get five each of the Sprgr. Patr. 34 (t) high-explosive round, the armor-piercing Pzgr. Patr. 34 (t) and the modified Pzgr. Patr. 34 (t) umg. Forty empty cartridge cases on top of that cover the needs of scenes where it is to be seen that firing has already taken place.
In 1:72 scale you often build a whole scene rather than a single machine - a column on a road, a defensive line, a farmyard occupied by a unit. Details such as cases scattered beside a wheel or rounds laid ready on a tarpaulin give such a scene scale and stop it looking empty. That is exactly where small accessories are more effective than on large models: the viewer will not make out an individual case, but a little heap of brass tells them at once what went on here.
Because of the size of the parts, prepare a light background, tweezers with fine tips and a splint moistened with glue. It pays to color the whole group of parts at once before placing them and to fine-tune only the details in place. Move the finished pieces onto the scene right at the end, when the groundwork is done and there is no risk of a brush or a fiber of dry grass sweeping them away.
