A resin, 3D-printed model of the Maxim Model 1910 heavy machine gun in the large 1:16 scale from Firma49. It is not a vehicle and not a figure, but a separate weapon intended to be fitted into dioramas and to complete figure scenes. The large 1:16 scale allows an exceptionally faithful rendering of the detail.
The Maxim Model 1910 was a Russian and later Soviet water-cooled heavy machine gun derived from the original Maxim system. It was typically moved on a wheeled carriage with a shield, the Sokolov mount. It served from the First World War through the civil war in Russia to the Second World War and became one of the most widespread machine guns of its day.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
