A set of wet (waterslide) decals with the technical markings of the airframe of the Aero L-29 Delfin in 1:72 scale. It contains the fine maintenance, service and warning lettering, the labeling of access panels, filler necks and other service markings found all over the surface of the real machine. In a small scale this is a detail that gives a finished model its credibility.
The Aero L-29 Delfin is a Czechoslovak jet trainer that became the standard training type for the air forces of a number of Warsaw Pact countries. Its rugged, undemanding design made it one of the most widespread trainers of its day and an icon of the domestic aircraft industry.
The markings are applied as classic wet decals onto a smooth, ideally glossy finish. The element is briefly dipped in lukewarm water and, once released from the paper, moved into place and settled. Given how fine the lettering is in this scale, a softener and a setting solution help; finally the surface is covered with a clear varnish.
This is an add-on decal set, not a model. A kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
