An injection-molded plastic kit of the British light twin-engined Beagle B.206 Basset in 1:72 scale from the Airfix brand. It is a classic tooling with a traditional approach to the parts, suited to modelers who are fond of older aviation classics too.
The Beagle B.206 was a British light communications and transport aircraft with a roomy cabin. In the RAF it served under the designation Basset CC.1 from the mid-1960s with communications units, among other things to carry aircrews. It was powered by two piston engines and offered a decent range.
With older toolings it pays to clean the parting lines up and to fill the joints where needed. Mask the cockpit glazing before spraying. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and a gloss varnish under the decals. Patience in fitting the parts is worth the trouble.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
