A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. Finely cast in resin, the set replaces the main landing gear covers of the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. The castings have thin walls and fine texture on both the inner and the outer face, which injected plastic handles only with difficulty in this scale.
On a model with the landing gear down, the gear covers are very much on show and their thickness and detail strongly influence the overall impression. The resin castings offer realistically thin edges and faithful inner structure, so that the wheel bays and the legs look convincing. Once painted and lightly weathered, the texture of the parts comes into its own.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
